Homework:
Math sheet 37 or TTM-record lesson and some of the work on your journal.
Read or work on genre packet for at least 20 minutes.
Ask your child what the suffix ulous means.
We read The Lorax this week as an introduction to suffixes. It also highlights many of the problems our Earth still faces, such as deforestration. I would like to watch the movie with the kids before break. We will compare the book and the movie. They will also write an essay on how the book supports the learning we have been doing this trimester. The movie is PG so I have to receive your permission to show it to your child. I will send home a permission slip, but you can email me if that is easier.
