Been Away too Long!!!

Hi Everyone,
I have been away for so long! SBAC testing and both of my daughters moving home after college has made me neglectful.  We are done with standardized testing, but I am in the process of assessing each child with the Fountas and Pinnell reading assessment.  These take a couple of days because I sit with each child and they read aloud, then silently, and tell me everything they know about the book.  I assess until I find an instructional level, or for some, an independent level.

We are in our final units of the year.  There are less than 20 days left.  UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! Where has this year gone?????  The last day of school is June 20th.

Project Sweet Talk and Conferences

No homework this week.

Project Sweet Talk is tomorrow!!!! May 3, 2018.  8:45-10:30, stop by anytime you can.
Project Sweet Talk share day is my favorite day of the year.  It really does showcase the hard work the students put into their writing and projects.  This unit gives students the opportunity to show proficiency in all transferable skills: Communication, Problem Solving, Citizenship, and Self-Direction. We will be updating our Personalized Learning Plans tomorrow afternoon to prepare for conferences.
And speaking of conferences.............If you have not yet signed up for a conference, please do so.
