Today's Highlights:
Today was all about getting back in the daily routine. Last week's storm along with me being out on Friday made for an unusual week. In math we have started a unit on Ratios and Proportions.

Please sign up for a student led conference. You received an email with a link to a conference schedule sign up document. Conferences are Thursday 3/20, Tuesday 3/25, and Wednesday 3/26. There is no school this Friday.

The only homework for tonight is the Reading Log.
The students are in the process of reviewing interviews or prepping for interviews for Project Sweet Talk. I would like to show The Blindside this Friday. I will be out (looking at Pace University NYC with Alyson) this Friday so I thought that would be a good day.

It's good to be back! I had a nice vacation, but need work to keep me structured. We will be watching The Blindside next week. This movie gives a nice message of tolerance and acceptance. Over vacation I read the first 2 books in the Divergent series. This book is now a movie and will be released mid March. If your child liked The Hunger Games then he or she will most likely like this book also. There are 3 books in the series. Conferences are approaching. I will send home notice to let you know how to sign up for them. They will be Thursday night the 20th, Tuesday night the 25th and Wednesday night the 26th. These will be student led with time to talk about NECAP scores and any other concerns.
