All week the students will be working on Short Focused Research Projects~researching a Native American Tribe.  (SFRP)  The students are following a template (link to an example).  Meeting the standard is completing all pages according to the directions, by this Friday.  To exceed the standard, a comparison must be made between the student's tribe and the Abenaki.  This is due on Friday and will be presented to the class on Monday, 2/15.

ELA:  Read for 20-30 minutes
Grammar Minute 64
Short Focused Research Project (optional)

Math:  Worksheet with 3 problems.

Signed Progress Reports.  These were sent home on Friday.

If your child is going to exchange Valetines, please have one for every child in the class.  We will exchange this Friday.  I will bring in a small treat for them.
