Running

Miss Tully and I are training for a half marathon. It is on September 30th. Today we ran on the rail trail. We saw a cute little bunny rabbit. The picture is dark and I tried to zoom in so you could see it. Then I had to catch up to Miss Tully!!!! Have a great weekend. Hopefully I will see some of you on Sunday!

Rhododendron

About 7 years ago I received this Rhododendron from a student.  For those of you who don't know, I'm not that good with plants!  This year it had beautiful flowers on it and seems to be on a growth spurt.

This afternoon I had basal cell removed from my shoulder.  I will need to take it easy for a couple of days.  That will be hard for me!!!!  It will be a good chance to get some school work done.  Hopefully, the weather forecast is good for this weekend.  I plan on visiting the Jig In The Valley this Sunday!!

Good Day!

This morning I met with Dr. O'Dell and Ms. Hathaway to discuss PBiS.  We got a lot of work done.  Then I went home and finally mulched in the front of the porch.  It should have been done in May, but I'm a little late on that house project.  Then, tonight I met some friends for dinner on Main St. and was able to listen to the concert in the park across the street.  It was a good, summer day!

Outdoor Classroom Happenings

Hi everyone,
Today, I met with Dr. O'Dell, Julie Wolcott, Melissa Dion, and Joanna Jerose to talk about our Outdoor Classroom program.  We all agree that Fairfield should have the premiere Outdoor Classroom program in the state and we need as much community involvement as possible!  If you do not already subscribe to Front Porch Forum, please consider doing so.  Dr. O'Dell put a post on there today about a meeting for interested community members. This meeting is on August 21st at 5:30 p.m.

Last night my family went out on the boat.  It's Frank's (Mr. Tully) fishing boat, but he sometimes will take us out for a ride!

Hi Everyone!  Thanks for visiting our blog.  During the school year, we will post homework and what is happening in the world of 4th and 5th grades.  This summer I will share with you some of the things that are happening in my world.  Here are some pictures of my trip to Las Vegas.  My dad lives there and in Florida.  We stayed with him for one night and then at the Venetian for 3 nights.  I faced my fears of flying and heights during this trip as you can see from the pictures!!  We had a great time!
