Homework:
Math sheet #86
CNN question set - due Thursday
Reading Log
A lot of kids still need their checklist of due dates for Project Sweet Talk signed. Some also need the Project Sweet Talk handout signed.

In math we are learning about ratios and ratio tables.  This will lead us to proportions.  Ask your child to explain the problem Fruit Salad to you.
A fruit salad consists of blueberries, raspberries, grapes, and cherries. The fruit salad has a total of 280 pieces of fruit. There are twice as many raspberries as blueberries, three times as many grapes as cherries, and four times as many cherries as raspberries.
How many cherries are there in the fruit salad?

Vacation is coming up in about 2 1/2 weeks.  It seems like we just got back from the one in March since it has snowed so much!  I am ready for the warm weather.  In fact I am going to go for a run right now.  Finally I got this done before I left school!
